Chili Powder Mild
Chili Powder Mild
Chili Powder Mild is a salt-free, sugar-free, MSG-free seasoning blend that brings warming, earthy chile flavors to a dish with minimal heat. It is also referred to as mild chili powder, chili powder, or mild chili powder seasoning.
The first commercial blend of chili powder in the U.S. was created by William Gebhardt in 1894. Gebhardt had a saloon in New Braunfels, Texas and his chili was the town's favorite dish. To avoid seasonal supply issues, Gebhardt imported chiles from Mexico and processed them through a small meat grinder, so he could always have access to the flavor and proportions he needed.

Blend into black beans and enjoy some Black Bean Stuffed Peppers. This versatile blend is great on the grill and makes terrific Spanish Shrimp Tapas. Toss over potatoes and roast for craveable Tex-Mex Hash Browns. Or punch up the chile flavor and add this to Tangy Garlic Sauce.
Chili Powder Mild is great for chilis, stews, soups, gravies, sauces, and salsas. Add to beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, seafood, tofu, beans, or seitan, goes beautifully with grilled, roasted, braised, or sauteed meats, proteins, and vegetables.
