Mayan Coco
Mayan Coco
Mayan Coco is a salt-free, MSG-free sweet seasoning blend. It is also known as Mayan cocoa, coco Maya, cocoa Mayan, Mayan spices, and Mayan hot chocolate.
Mayans, who lived throughout central Mexico and much of Central America, had a terrific affinity for the cacao that grew there. Cocoa beans were likely used as currency in Mayan culture, and they were one of the first civilizations to cultivate cocoa beans for the specific intention of producing a frothy, hot chocolate drink, often flavored with other local ingredients like chile peppers.
