Mojo Seasoning is a salt-free, MSG-free, Cuban seasoning blend that reflects Portuguese and Spanish influence on Caribbean cooking. It is also called mojo seasoning dry, mojo spice, mojo spices, mojo spice mix, or mojo dry rub.

Traditional Cuban dishes are made from readily available, inexpensive, simple ingredients and are usually prepared and spiced to make them more flavorful. Most Cuban cooking relies on the use of a few basic spices, such as bay leaves, cumin, garlic and oregano, and cooked slowly over low heat. A traditional Cuban mojo marinade includes cumin, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, sliced raw onions, and a little water, and is added to root vegetables and meat dishes. Our Mojo Seasoning is our take on a dried Cuban mojo marinade.

Mojo Seasoning is popular with:

  • seasoning companies;
  • Mexican and Caribbean restaurants;
  • food trucks;
  • independent spice shops;
  • olive oil shops; and
  • manufacturers of sauces, bloody Mary, and drink mixes

Flavor Profile

Mojo Seasoning is bold and citrusy with garlic and peppery undertones.

How to Use

Mojo Seasoning gives seafood a bright, citrusy flavor; enjoy it in Seafood Enchiladas. Or toss shrimp in Mojo Seasoning and saute for quick and easy Shrimp Tapas. Add a Cuban twist to traditional Mexican Carne Asada by adding a Mojo Seasoning marinade to the meat. You can also swap this in when you make Slow Cooker Pulled Pork or Chicken Fajitas

It is a great seasoning blend to add to roasted chicken, pork, grilled seafood, fish tacos, sofrito, yucca, plantains, rice, quinoa, potatoes, and ribs, or in marinades, dressings, and sauces.
