Chase away winter chills with a steamy mug of spiced Mayan cocoa. We made ours with regular dairy milk. You can swap in any other alt-milk you'd like, like oat or almond milk. You can also make this with water if you prefer, but It won't deliver the same hearty, rich beverage.

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup Mayan Coco
  • 2 ounces dark chocolate squares
  • Whipped cream for garnish
Instructions:
  1. In a medium to large saucepan heat the milk on medium high until it is warm/hot but not boiling.
  2. Whisk in the Mayan Coco, continue whisking until the powder is thoroughly combined with the milk.
  3. Break the chocolate squares into smaller pieces and add to the milk mixture.
  4. Continue whisking until chocolate is melted and cocoa is warmed to desired temperature.
  5. Divide between 4 cups, serve warm and garnish with whipped cream.
