Ranch Dip
There’s not much to say about Ranch dressing that everyone in the United States doesn’t already know. This condiment was created in 1949 by a contract plumber who had to cook for a big group. A formula for the dressing that allowed it to be shelf-stable was introduced in 1983, and Ranch has never looked back. In 1992, it outsold Italian dressing and became the most popular dressing in America. There are books dedicated to the flavor of ranch, recipes expanding across all kinds of food horizons, and even clothing printed with “I love ranch.”
This ranch dip is so easy anyone can make it. It only takes a few minutes to mix, but it should be allowed to sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to develop. We left ours in the fridge overnight, but you could make this before work and then have it with your dinner or nighttime snack. It’s good with vegetables, chips, or anything else you want to dip.
