Turkey Sausage and Spinach Rice Bowl
If you're looking to have dinner ready in about a half an hour--and make it hearty, satisfying, and interesting--then this is the dish for you. This dish delivers all the food groups--starch, protein, veggies, and dairy--in one rib-sticking bowl.
Choose the ingredients wisely, since there are only a few here. Use an aromatic rice, like basmati or jasmine, and if you're using leftover rice, this dish is even easier. Pour in a flavorful olive oil. As for turkey, you can choose the leanest variety out there but turkey with a little bit of fat in it delivers so much more flavor and mouthfeel than 99% lean. And pick a good quality parmesan. Great ingredients can go a very long way in creating an easy-to-make dish that's got long-term staying power.
