Habanero Mango Chicken Rub, one of our sweet heat blends, is also called mango habanero dry rub, mango habanero rub, mango habanero seasoning, or mango habanero powder.

We wanted this blend to have a bit of Caribbean style so we paired habanero, a Caribbean favorite, with dried mango powder, or amchur. Amchur provides bright acidity to the flavor profile. It’s a great way to balance the fruity heat of the habanero powder and to balance the rich, mellow ancho chile base.

Habanero Mango Chicken Rub is frequently bought by:

  • Mediterranean restaurants;
  • independent spice shops;
  • olive oil shops;
  • seasoning companies; and
  • companies that manufacture dip mixes

Flavor Profile

Intense heat that fades quickly, followed by fruity and earthy flavors and a burst of tartness.

How to Use

Swap in Habanero Mango Chicken Rub when making Habanero Mango Glazed Chicken Thighs. It adds delicious, fruity heat to Black Bean and Corn Salsa or can really spice up the marinade when you swap it in to make Caribbean Fajitas. Make it the primary seasoning blend in Spicy Coconut Shrimp or Jamaican Stir Fry. Create an unforgettable appetizer with spicy Goat Cheese with Habanero Marmalade

Use one tablespoon per pound of meat; try it on chicken, fish, or pork. One customer uses it on baby back ribs. It pairs well with tropical flavors like pineapple, lime, or cilantro. Try it on chicken wings, salsa, marinades, roasted corn, tofu scrambles, Caribbean scampi, fish tacos, nachos, slaw, chili, ice cream, or guacamole.
