Lemon Pepper
Lemon Pepper
Lemon Pepper is a salt-free, MSG-free way to add flavor to your cooking without adding sodium. Citrusy lemon is a natural flavor enhancer, brightening flavors in much the same way that salt does. Lemon Pepper is also called lemon pepper bulk, bulk lemon pepper seasoning, or lemon pepper seasoning bulk.
The first commercial lemon pepper seasoning blend was launched in the US in 1967, but it’s surmised that this flavor combination has centuries-old origins. These ingredients were, and still are, commonly used in Indian cuisine, which is where pepper emerged and is a likely location for the emergence of lemons.
Our Lemon Pepper is popular with seasoning companies; olive oil shops; Mediterranean, American, and chicken restaurants; coffee, tea, dip mix, and sauce manufacturers; independent spice shops; and breweries.
Flavor Profile
Lemon Pepper tastes peppery and herbal with bright notes of lemon.
How to Use
You can use Lemon Pepper as a seasoning for meats, seafood, and tofu, but it can also be added to leafy greens for a kick of flavor. It works well as a rub for mild white fish like halibut or cod like in this One Pan Lemon Parmesan Fish and Asparagus, or try it in this Open Face Tuna Melt. Mix with butter and slather over roast chicken, or add it to this savory Grilled Chicken and Potato Salad. Sprinkle Lemon Pepper into pasta salad, mix into Quinoa Feta Phyllo Cups, or blend into a pasta dish with goat cheese and spinach. It is extremely popular as a topping for chicken wings, and also works beautifully on roasted vegetables or potatoes.
